The first is an invitation to make Eudora your default mail program. By setting it to your default your computer will automatically use your Eudora accounts to send and receive email from different applications.

If you are not able to send and receive email, please check the above settings again.  If you are still unable to send and receive email please try logging to our Webmail online at www.nenana.net.  If you are able to log in to our Webmail online then you email is functioning properly and a setting in Eudora is not correct, please contact Eudora's tech support to troubleshoot the problemIf you are not able to log in to our Webmail online please call the Wasilla Office. (800) 478.2556

If you are not using a nenana.net or yukontel.com email address but are using our internet service you will need to enable smtp authentication to successfully send email.  Unfortunately Eudora does not have an easy way to specify a different username and password for the SMTP server.  What you have to do is to configure a new personality to be a relay personality and you set up that relay personality so that it uses authentication.  You then set your MAIN personality so that it uses the relay personality for OUTGOING messages.

Create the new personality with the POP3 username/password configured for your BBN login (you will need to call the Wasilla Office to get your username and password if you did not set one up at the time of installation) and enable authentication for outgoing messages in that new personality.  You must then DISABLE "check for mail" for that personality because you're only using it for outgoing messages and you don't want it to actually pull in any email.

From now on when your main personality wants to send mail, it will connect through the relay personality which will then use the POP3 settings for outgoing authentication.
